The Atlantic Nominating Committee has designated two members for the Board of Directors:
Howard Dupee
Howard has served on the Board since 2012 and brings more than 30 years of experience in nonprofit housing and community development. He holds a degree in economics from the University of Connecticut and began his career with York-Cumberland Housing Development Corporation (now Avesta), later serving as Senior Vice President for Housing at Coastal Enterprises, Inc. He also served six years on the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston. Howard has resided in Alfred for more than 45 years with his wife, Claudette.
Todd Alexander
Todd joined the Board in 2023 and has a background in affordable housing development and real estate finance. He is President of Renewal Housing Associates, LLC, a Portland-based development company. A multifamily developer since 2003, Todd has led the development and recapitalization of properties using public and private financing. He previously served as Board President for Community Housing of Maine and the Downtown Portland Corporation. He holds degrees from Cornell University and Colby College and lives in Portland with his wife, Catherine, and their three daughters.
As there is one nominee for each open Board position, Atlantic will not conduct the election by ballot at the Annual Meeting, and there will be no nominations from the floor.
